Gen.Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria’s president-elect, was issued Certificate of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC a while ago in Abuja.
The chairman of INEC, Prof.Attahiru Jega, handed the certificate to Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, and the vice president-elect, Yemi Osinbajo.
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari defeated President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in the presidential election that held on Saturday.
Speaking after receiving the certificate, Mr. Buhari said “Change has finally come” to Nigeria.
He said Nigeria’s “long night has passed”And attributed his victory at the polls to all Nigerians.
