Olusegun Obasanjo, Muhammdu Buhari, Yakubu Gowon & Others attend President Goodluck Jonathan’s last Council of State meeting

President Jonathan is yesterday presided over the last Council of State meeting in his administration at the presidential villa Abuja. Past Nigerian leaders in attendance at the meeting includes president elect Gen Muhammadu Buhari, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, Gen Ibrahim Babangida, Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar and Chief Ernest Shonekan.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo who was also present at the meeting came 40 minutes late. He arrived at  12.10pm while the meeting started 11.30.State Governors of Ogun, Ondo, Sokoto, Rivers, Kaduna, Bayelsa, Adamawa, Nasarawa, Benue, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Zamfara, Niger, Plateau, Cross River and Taraba State are also present at the meeting while Deputy governors of Kano, Kogi, Oyo and Yobe States represented their state governors.

Senate President David Mark, Speaker of the House of Representatives Aminu Tambuwal and former Chief Justices of Nigeria including Muhammadu Uwais, Alfa Belgore and Idris Kutigi were also present at the meeting.
