Mark Zuckerberg celebrated his 31st birthday with a billion dollar gift - $1.2billion, to be exact.
Facebook's shares jumped $2.93 yesterday to $81.37, translating into a billion dollar gain for it's founder and CEO, who happens to own 426.3 million of them.
The stock's rise was the cherry on top of Zuckerberg's 30th year, which saw his shares jump $9.4billion in value in addition to his $610,455 annual salary, according to USA Today Money.
But although his net worth is estimated to be around $35billion, you won't find Zuckerberg, who owns 15 percent of Facebook's shares, planning any grand birthday celebrations.
Zuckerberg plans to just have a quiet dinner at home with his wife Priscilla, he said during a town hall question and answer session at the Menlo Park, California headquarters on Thursday.
'I'm a low-key birthday person,' he said, according to USA Today. 'I get too much attention the rest of the time.'
Zuckerberg then shared a story from his 30th birthday, where he tried to escape any celebrations for the milestone year by flying across the country.
When he returned to work and found a conference room filled with birthday balloons, Zuckerberg wouldn't allow any one to clear them out - and held all his meetings there for the rest of the day.
The setting turned especially awkward when, during one meeting, the CEO told some of his employees they had to do 'better work' and that they were letting 'our community down'.
'We were all up to our waists in balloons, and everyone was just so sad,' he said, according to CNET.
'It was ridiculous.'
During the town hall Zuckerberg was also asked what he plans to wear when he's 80 and outgrown his uniform of a T-shirt and hoodie jacket.
Zuckerberg described his style philosophy as anything that wouldn't require him to 'spend a lot of time thinking about fashion.'
'Maybe I'll wear like a unitard. A onesie?' he said.
'Who knows what kind of incredibly unfashionable thing I'll have found.'
