Sani Abubabakar hails from Etsako Central Local Government Area of Edo State,a graduate of Biology from ABU, Zaria and currently pursuing his Master's degree at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical from the same University.He is the Choir director of Living Faith Church Kwangila, Zaria.

Sani is popularly called SanAb in the gospel arena,well known for his contemporary gospel style of music.His maiden album titled" Good & beautiful"was released in September 2006,and his latest album titled WINNING SIDE was released on the 7th of September 2014 which comprises of eight tracks(1. He is a  devoted husband, Christian, lover of God and inspired by great gospel ministers(his mentors) ; Panam Percy Paul and Don Moen .
