Missing NNPC money: Sanusi reviews PwC report, says report confirms $18.5bn was diverted

Former Central Bank Governor and now Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II who blew the lid on the missing NNPC money has reviewed the recently released PWC auditors report on the missing NNPC money. Photo:Baby buried alive for 8 days found alive

A newborn baby has been found alive after being buried for eight days in a cemetery in the mountains of Guangxi province in southern China.

The baby, a boy, was abandoned by his parents in Tian Dong County after being born with a cleft lip. 

But he was miraculously discovered after a middle-aged woman heard his crying while she was collecting herbs for Chinese medicine, reported the People's Daily Online.  

Five arraigned by EFCC over N26million Internet Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday, May 11, 2015 arraigned Uchenna Nwako, Ejikeme Oluchukwu, Nnamani Ikechukwu, Ibeh kodili Martins and Nwako Victoria Ifeoma before Justice D.V Agishir of the Federal High Court, Enugu, on a 16-count charge bordering on intent to defraud and obtaining N26,338,000 by false pretence.

The five accused persons were picked up by EFCC operatives on February 27, 2013 after intelligence reports indicated that they were involved in fraudulent activities bordering on cybercrime.

Nnamdi Azikwe’s First Son Dies At 75

Chukwuma Bamidele Azikiwe, the first son of first President of Nigeria, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, is dead. A family source, who pleaded not to be named, said he passed away at Bromeo Hospital on Sunday at the age of 75. It was gathered that he had been battling a protracted respiratory-related ailment for some years. Chukwuma, until his death, was the Owelle of Onitsha, a traditional position he inherited from his father in 1996.
Coincidentally, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe died 19 years ago on May 11, 1996. Chukwuma had once contested the governorship seat of the old Anambra State at the end of his diplomatic career, but lost. As Owelle, he was sixth in rank to the Obi of Onitsha.
